Fast, strong, precise and safe: The SCHWIND AMARIS is a “TotalTech Laser” – the new generation of excimer lasers, redefining perfection in refractive corneal surgery. • SCHWIND AMARIS has an impressive „true“ repetition rate of 500 Hz. • With the intelligent „Advanced Fluence Level Adjustment” method the laser treatment is significantly shortened and at the same time carried out with exceptional precision. • The „Intelligent Thermal Effect Control“ ensures thermally optimized, dynamically adapted distribution of the laser pulses and protects the stroma. • With its minimum beam size of 0.54 mm (FWHM) and its Super-Gaussian beam profile, the SCHWIND AMARIS ensures very high ablation accuracy, resulting in exceptionally smooth treatment surfaces. • Integrated online pachymetry: During the surgical procedure, changes in corneal thickness are displayed in real time. • The 1050 Hz turbo eyetracker, with a response time of less than three milliseconds, facilitates unequaled precision in the positioning of each individual laser pulse. • Groundbreaking eyetracking features, such as the unique rotation balance, limbus tracking and static as well as dynamic cyclotorsion control, ensure exact compensation of every eye movement, right up to the fifth dimension. • Laser arm and patient bed can be swiveled. This makes patient preparation and the combination with other medical devices easy and comfortable. • With the innovative particle aspiration system, energy-reducing particles are efficiently removed during ablation. • The Treatment Assistant Manager guides through the treatment safely and comfortably. Practical default settings can be changed or expanded and saved.
The ESIRIS is a sixth generation Excimer laser, integrating the complete technological and applicational know-how of SCHWIND and is therefore a state-of-the-art. • Highly precise treatment conditions are offered by its 200 Hz repetition rate and its very small spot size of 0.8 mm. • The ultra fast eye tracker of the ESIRIS provides a reaction time of few milliseconds and therefore one of the world’s shortest. • A combination of the SCHWIND Custom Ablation Manager software and the Para-Gaussian spot offers a very smooth corneal surface. • The ESIRIS can be used for multiple treatment application, from aspherical standard corrections to corneal and ocular wavefront treatments. • A further treatment safety is offered with its optional online pachymetry equipment. Simple, exact and contactless measurements of central corneal thickness during the entire treatment can now be performed using the Optical Coherence Pachymetry (OCP). • With its 29,5 centimeters working distance between the laser arm and the patient eye offers the operator optimal comfortable work conditions. • The ESIRIS is optimally equipped to be used in combination with any other medical systems with its optionally available swivelling patient bed.
