SILDA™ SUTURES (BLACK BRAIDED SILK)

The Silda™ (Braided Silk) is a non-absorbable suture obtained from a variable number of fibers from washed silk threads of the cocoons of Bombyx Mori, a domestic silk worm. Due to its great resistance and flexibility for the knots, Silda™ is used in general soft tissue approximation and/or ligation, including use in ophthalmic procedures.

Available in Kuwait, Lebanon and UAE.

RASTORO™ SUTURES (VIOLET POLYGLYCOLIC ACID)

The Rastoro™ (PGA) is a synthetic absorbable braided suture material that’s coated with polycaprolactone and calcium stearate. It is inert, nonantigenic and nonpyrogenic with excellent handling and knotting characteristics and ensures a smooth tissue passage. Rastoro™ is indicated for use in general soft tissue approximation and/or ligation, including use in ophthalmic surgery.

Available in Kuwait, Lebanon and UAE.

KOFLON™ SUTURES (POLYTETRAFLUOROETHYLENE)

The Koflon™ sutures (PTFE) are non-absorbable sutures made of 100% PTFE monofilament fibers without additives and coating. It has excellent smoothness, good elasticity, a uniform surface minimizing trauma, and is ultra-soft providing easy knot handling. Koflon™ is indicated for all types of tissue approximation and/or ligation, including vascular, dental and general surgeries, as well as repair of the dura mater.

Available in Kuwait, Lebanon and UAE.

MOLYLON™ SUTURES (MONOFILAMENT POLYAMIDE)

The Molylon™ (Nylon Monofilament) is a non-absorbable suture made by Polyamide 6.6/Polyamide 6 and processed in shape of round continuous monofilaments with soft surface. Having a great resistance and passing easily through the tissue, Molylon™ is used in general soft tissue approximation and/or ligation, including use in ophthalmic procedures.

Available in Kuwait, Lebanon and UAE.

PIDILEN™ SUTURES (POLYPROPYLENE)

The Pidilen™ (Polypropylene) is a synthetic non-absorbable suture made of polypropylene, a thermoplastic polymer. It has excellent smoothness, good elasticity, an easy knot handling and a uniform surface to minimize trauma. Pidilen™ is used in general soft tissue approximation and/or ligation, including use in cardiovascular, ophthalmic and neurological procedures.

Available in Kuwait, Lebanon and UAE.
